The Nazca Lines are
gigantic mysterious drawings done at the desert floor about
600 years ago and are only visible from the sky. Theories
about their origins go from far out ones, regarding
extraterrestrial work, to being a gigantic Astronomical
calendar and its relationship with a water cult. Also on
this tour we include a visit to the Paracas National Park
and the Ballestas Islands, known as the Little Galapagos,
because of their abundant marine life, such as seals,
cormorants, penguins and many sea birds, some endemic to
this region. You will have more time to spend at the beach
and enjoy the nice weather at the Bay of Paracas.
